Starting today, you can head to the Dill Pickle Food Co-op in Logan Square to donate to the Northwest Food Partners Network Holiday Food and Item Drive!
As the holidays and winter weather approach, NFPN is making an effort to collect can openers, non-perishable food, and household items for distribution to families living in the neighborhoods we serve.
Customers shopping at the Dill Pickle will find a copy of the NFPN Holiday Drive Wish List in the bottom of their shopping basket. If they wish to make a donation, they can grab wish list items off the shelves, purchase them, and place them in the donation cart at the front of the store.
People can also donate online via NFPN’s Amazon Wish List.
The Dill Pickle Food Co-op supports sustainable food systems, equitable economic relationships, and inclusive practices in our community. Anyone wishing to help support a food economy that puts people and our planet before profit can invest in and become an owner of the Dill Pickle.
