November ’15 Food and Household Supplies Drive!

It’s that time of year again…. time for the NFPN’s holiday donation drive! It will run from November 1-30, 2015.

This year we are focusing on food staples, essential kitchen items and other household supplies. Typically, food pantries and hot meal programs are able to provide families in need with produce, bread, canned goods and other non-perishables. However, they are rarely able to provide the kitchen essentials needed to prepare these foods, such as pots and pans, cooking oil and spices. They also rarely receive other crucial family items such as hygiene products, baby and senior citizen essentials, and pet food for the service animals of disabled clients.

Toiletries (tooth brush/paste, deodorant, soap, lotion, shampoo, conditioner etc.)
Disposable Kitchen Goods (Plates, Cups, Bowls, Napkins, Utensils etc)
Trash Bags, Toilet Paper, Paper Towels
Laundry Detergent
Feminine Products
Cleaning Supplies (Lysol, spray, bleach etc.)
Diapers (both child and adult) and Baby Wipes
Kitchen Items New or Used (Can Openers, Pots, Pans, Spoons, Spatulas etc)
Pet Food (for service animals)

Cooking Oil (olive, canola, vegetable etc)
Salt/ Pepper
Dry Spices (oregano, thyme, basil etc)
Baking Soda
Baking Powder
Marinades (powder or bottled)
Seasoning Packets
Condiments (ketchup, bbq sauce, mustard, teriyaki, balsamic vinegar, hot sauce, mayonnaise)
